In 1997 Walcot Street traders got together and organised a street party on a Sunday afternoon, after the Fringe Festival. all traffic was banned and the atmosphere was fantastic with street Theatre, live music, food, comedy and circus. It has been an annual event up till up to 2005, in 2006 it has been relocated down to the London Road area
