A great view of Bath from Alexandra park, go up the Wells Rd past the Bear pub on your right then left up Shakespeare Avenue. That whole area is known as poets corner.
Prior Park Gardens, go to Widcombe, go up Prior Park Rd
Beckford’s Tower up Landsdown Rd, just past the Hare and Hounds on the left. As you are already on Lansdown, continue past the Bath race course and see where a big battle of Lansdown Hill was fought between the armies of Sir William Waller and Sir Ralph Hopton on 5th July 1643. By late May 1643

The Botanical Gardens in Royal Victoria Park
The Roman Baths, excellent head set tour guide, the open air court yard bath must be seen
Solsbury Hill, 600 feet high has traces of a circular camp sup posed to have been used by the Saxons in their siege of Bath. Featured in one of Peter Gabriel’s songs. Go out on the London Rd to Batheaston half way through the village take a sharp left.
